No, according to what you sent me it was two in parallel and he referenced DIY amps, so electrically, it's very much a direct comparison whether one, two or many resistors are used in a circuit or whether the circuit is in a component or in series/parallel with it, only the degree of load sharing, hence how much it can potentially impact performance due to both load balance due to the L-C-R of each leg of the circuit and its thermally induced distortion over time.
As for what a human can potentially hear/perceive and what?s ?snake oil?, we're still in the Stone Age of discovery AFAIK, but in some portion of our hearing perception BW we have up to an 80 dB dynamic range and why some say that HIFI begins at ?40 dB; so far be it for me to say what subtleties in an electro-mechanical-acoustical sound reproduction system can, can not, be at least perceived in a given environment, especially after having lived with a woman with truly extraordinary hearing perception as well as being privy to various and numerous wire testing, wired circuit testing reports that included noise measurements in many cases.

GM, have never hassled anyone for a post like "to my ears this sounded better' What I don't like is huge claims that can't be proven, and fantasy explanations of how things work.
